As a Senior AI Data Engineer, you’ll take ownership of the data pipelines, retrieval layers, and architecture that fuel our LLM-driven systems. You’ll collaborate across engineering, product, and machine learning to build smart, modular, and scalable solutions for real-world AI deployments.

As a Senior AI Data Engineer, you’ll lead the design and development of production-grade AI data pipelines, while mentoring others and driving technical decisions.
Your work will include:
Designing and implementing scalable, modular pipelines for LLMs and agent frameworks
Leading ingestion strategies for APIs, documents, and user-generated content
Optimizing chunking and retrieval to improve speed, relevance, and token efficiency
Adding observability, versioning, and metrics to ensure data quality and traceability
Collaborating with ML engineers and backend developers on end-to-end features
Shaping client-facing data strategies to support AI use cases
Supporting prompt/context engineering through curated, structured inputs
Mentoring junior team members and contributing to internal standards and tooling
Have solid experience in data engineering or backend roles in data-intensive environments
Write clean, modular, and production-ready Python code
Have built or scaled retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) pipelines
Understand vector embeddings, similarity search, and chunking tradeoffs
Can design systems from scratch and make confident architectural decisions
Enjoy mentoring and raising the bar across the engineering team
Communicate technical solutions clearly to both teams and stakeholders
Delivering LLM- or RAG-based solutions in production
Building internal tools to streamline AI workflows
Experience with hybrid search, reranking, or custom embedding models
Familiarity with evaluation frameworks for grounding, hallucinations, and retrieval precision
Deep understanding of how data flows influence LLM and agent performance

Your work will include:

Tried Hugging Face or LangChain
Played with RAG pipelines or text chunking strategies
